What is in Vicopyl®?

Vicopyl® contains soluble, prebiotic dietary fiber produced from non-GMO plant sources. It has been shown to induce an increase of good and beneficial bacteria, such as the Lactobacilli and Bacteroides and a decrease in potentially harmful ones. 

More importantly, it contains signature ingredient Pylopass® - Lactobacillus reuteri - that has high binding specificity with Helicobacter pylori, forming clumps with them, subsequently reducing the colonization of gastric mucosa with Helicobacter pylori without affecting the normal intestinal microflora.

  • Vicopyl® helps improve the above symptoms by restoring and improving your gut microbiota. Vicopyl® contains Pylopass®, a patented Lactobacillus reuteri strain proven to reduce bacterial load of H. pylori in the stomach by forming clumps with them via a unique "hook-and-remove" action, without affecting normal gut microflora balance.

  • Unlike probiotics, Vicopyl® consists of inactivated cells which can withstand environmental fluctuations and the acidic environment of the stomach, and specifically binds to H. pylori in the stomach, resulting in the unique “hook-and-remove” action. Furthermore, Vicopyl® does not bind or disturb the normal gut microbial balance.

  • Triple and even quadruple antibiotic therapies are non-specific and have numerous side effects such as diarrhoea and taste disturbances. Vicopyl® is not known to have any side effects.

    Vicopyl® is also a good alternative to antibiotics as it does not contribute to the problem of antibiotic resistance.

  • It is a pathogenic bacteria commonly found in the stomach and digestive tract. When food sharing is a widely practiced habit, the spread of H. pylori can be fast yet unnoticed. The source of infection can be highly unpredictable. Most people are first exposed to the bacteria during childhood and it might take years before symptoms start showing up.
